the dreaded postcard

A chill came over me when I leafed through the mail and saw a postcard with a picture of a cat, dog, and stethoscope. It's that time again. And this is rabies shot year. Holy moly. Rabies shots hurt normally, let alone giving one to a cat with armadillo skin. I'm going to get beat up so bad. If I survive the catching and getting them in their carriers part that is. I'm already having flashbacks.
