OK. I'm trying not to use anything toxic. But it's very annoying to have a raccoon (nameless because I can't think of a nice name) on my deck digging up my plants. He dug up my new rose bush after it had new shoots on it and worked on a couple others. My nephew had this to say after I sent him the picture.

Send a picture of him using one of the forks to eat the shoots.
