I bought one since I was tired of eating on the coffee table and spilling. Well, I still spill but only on me and not the carpet.
I find it very strange though that I thought I was going to have to fight cats off. They don't have the nerve to jump up on it. They've stood on their hindlegs to see what's on it, without touching it. They're not good jumpers, and I thought all cats could jump. I should have rented an adult cat when they were babies so they could have learned to be cats.

Apparently so...they do circus tricks however, they stand on their hindlegs. It is a good thing that they aren't good at jumping. You would have a few [thousand] more comments to make if they were any good at it.
